Although dry shampoo isn't a new product (hairstylists have been using it for years both in salon and on photo shoots as a quick fix), it is becoming more readily available to consumers to help your hair look great in a hurry. The newer formulas have improved delivery methods (like aerosol sprays) that aren't messy and don't leave an icky residue on your hair (compared to a little baby powder or cornstarch). Plus they are easier to blend in, which is especially important if you have dark hair.
Dry shampoo helps to extend the life of your recent wash and blowdry. Once it absorbs the excess oils from the scalp, it instantly volumizes and refreshes hair and makes it look and feel clean with very little effort (and who doesn't want that?!).
