  1. Eye brushes

    Eye shadow brushes are for applying colour. Use a big one for blending and a smaller one for contouring.
    Eyeliner brushes are great for definition. Use a fine brush for a liquid application or angle for smudging and using powder shadow wet.

    These are the big boys for working over larger areas of the face. A powder brush is used for dusting off excess powder or setting the foundation.
    Blusher brushes are smaller and softer and should be used on the apple of the cheeks and the cheek bones for that rosy glow.
    Contour brushes are an angled version of the blusher brush used for highlighting and shading.

    For a perfect pout, lip brushes line the lips while adding colour. There are domed and square types on the market, although it's much easier to line your lips with a square or angled brush.
